#046 – Breathe Your Way To Sleep | Patrick McKeown

If you struggle to sleep, you know that a restless night can mean increased anxiety, lack of focus, and decreased memory. Patrick McKeown’s advice for better sleep and less anxiety? Functional breathing.

Patrick first started experimenting with breathwork while at university. He was suffering from an inability to sleep which resulted in high anxiety, increased stress, and failure to focus. Patrick found the solution to a good night’s sleep in functional breathing. He has since dedicated his life to studying breathing and sleep disorders.

Join Suzanne and Patrick as they discuss how breathing impacts your health and life, why nose breathing is the foundation of healthy breathing patterns, how to reduce the risk of sleep disorders, how to stimulate the vagus nerve, and more.
