What Students Are Saying. . .
Why are you a Wellness Coach? Tell us why you are passionate about helping others with Health and Wellness?
Everyone has an innate wisdom. Some are already in tune with it, others have an urge to explore what is ‘more’ to life. I have been some pretty radical life changes which I did not fore see (do we ever?) Looking back I wonder how on earth I did it alone. Fortunately I had a background in holistic therapies which were my saving grace, not every does. I learnt a lot about myself, however, I have learnt so much more about me since beginning this course. I ‘get’ me. Iwatch and observe others and know by sharing nuggets of information that I have learnt will support them in their lives. I want to support females, especially mums when parenting is tough. Mums who feel they are absolutely at rock bottom, because the only way is up. I want to mums to feel that they are someone, other than a mum. Changes can be made, no matter how big or small. There is no limit to what I want to accomplish, however I am taking small steps to build my confidence with this and also putting myself well and truly out of my comfort zone! – Kate Schenk
We are starting our own detox wellness business and I want to better help our clients who are interested in wellness. I want to me more equipped for those who may need more coaching. I am a Wellness Coach to help people see health and wellness as a part of life. In the medical community, treatment if often viewed as the goal due in part to the financial gain of illness. However, ideally God has created us to be healthy, whole, empowered individuals with divine purpose and assignments. My goal is to assist individuals in regaining their health so that they can fulfill their divine purpose to the glory of God. – Erien W. Fryer

I have been greatly blessed by the systematic approach to developing a wellness coaching business. Although I had experience with life coaching, the added level of specialization required additional tools especially when health and wellness coaching is still relatively new to the medical model. However, I am fortunate to be connected with a family medicine doctor that is in the process of converting his practice into a functional medicine clinic where prevention, wellness, cutting edge technology, and Eastern Medicine practices (Tai Chi Qi Gong) are embraced and taught as possible aides in a wellness plan. -Erien W.
